FACECRAFT

The face you have in your 20’s is the face your parents gave you. The face you have in your 50’s is the one you earned.

THE SKIN EDIT : MICRONEEDLING &
FACIAL ACUPUNCTURE

If your eyes are the window to your soul, your face is the record of your genetics, habits, and time. It keeps careful notes on every delight, worry, hope, all-nighter, cigarette, and martini. You’ve been etching your life since the womb and you’re not alone if you’d like to soften its imprint with these bespoke treatments.

Microneedling (Collagen Induction Therapy) and facial rejuvenation acupuncture are non-invasive, toxin-free ways to restore your natural beauty and reveal luminous skin that reflects your inner health. Because I also address underlying imbalances that contribute to skin issues — digestion, stress, anxiety — you’ll likely feel as radiant as you look.

WHAT DO MICRONEEDLING & FACIAL ACUPUNCTURE TREAT?

  • Acne, acne scars
  • Enlarged pores
  • Wrinkles, fine lines, frown lines
  • Hair Loss
  • Crepey skin, décolleté
  • Drooping eyelids
  • Melasma and hyperpigmentation
  • Surgical scars
  • Skin rejuvenation and collagen induction
  • Skin resurfacing for smoother, more even texture

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Microneedling and facial acupuncture stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing response by creating controlled, painless micro-traumas. This increases collagen production, improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and supports new cell and hair growth.

Microneedling uses a motorized device to create a precise dermal injury that allows topicals to absorb far more effectively than on untreated skin. Facial acupuncture works at a deeper level — addressing muscle tone, circulation, and underlying imbalances that contribute to lines and laxity.

Together, these treatments offer intentional dermal therapy. Not a quick fix, but real support for vital skin and lasting radiance.

WHAT’S THE IDEAL TREATMENT PACE?

Microneedling:
1 treatment per month for 4–6 months
(Deep wrinkles may require up to 8 sessions)
Maintenance: 1 treatment every 4–6 months

Facial Acupuncture:
1–2 treatments per week for 4 weeks
Maintenance: 1 treatment every 2–3 weeks
(Mini sessions can be combined with full treatments)

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Microneedling results are cumulative and driven by your body’s natural healing process. Most people begin noticing changes about two weeks after their second treatment. When paired with facial acupuncture, results appear even sooner.

HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?

Depending on lifestyle and maintenance, results typically last 3–5 years. Periodic maintenance sessions help extend and preserve outcomes.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each visit is crafted to support vital skin, combining internal balance with targeted facial work.

I offer a complimentary 10-minute video consultation to understand your goals visually. Your first visit is approximately 90 minutes and includes a full intake, body acupuncture, facial preparation with massage, and — as needed — cupping, moxa, gua sha, or tui na. I treat one person at a time and customize every session.

Microneedling focuses on up to three areas per session (approximately four square inches each), such as the forehead, eyes, lips, neck, décolleté, hands, or scars. Treatments conclude with a cooling mask and Red Light/Infrared Therapy. I may recommend herbs, dietary guidance, or lifestyle support to enhance results.

Temporary redness, tightness, or dryness for 1–2 days post-treatment is normal.

FORCE OF NATURE

Post-treatment skin absorbs topicals more effectively. You may choose a bespoke blend or leave the selection to me. Available extracts include:

Arrive with a clean, bare-naked face (mascara is fine). Avoid exfoliants, moisturizers with alpha hydroxy acids or retinoids, and harsh products for 5–7 days prior to microneedling. Eat a light meal beforehand and wear loose, comfortable clothing. A spaghetti strap tank top is the easiest to work around.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR TREATMENT?

Microneedling and acupuncture pair well with injectables when spaced correctly. They support collagen production, circulation, and muscle tone, and may help extend time between Botox or fillers. Acupuncture and microneedling can target areas Botox misses, support muscle tone, and ease stiffness.

Wait:

  • 3–4 weeks after microneedling

  • 1–2 weeks after facial acupuncture

before Botox, fillers, lasers, peels, microdermabrasion, or retinol.

CAN I GET BOTOX OR FILLERS AFTER TREATMENT?

WHAT SHOULD I AVOID POST-TREATMENT?

After microneedling, give your skin a break — skip the sun, sweaty workout, and strong products for 24-48 hours. Save the wind-in-your-hair joyride for another day. This delicate window is when your skin absorbs everything most easily so be extra careful about what you apply. Go makeup-free for the first 24 hours. Stick to gentle cleansers and lots of hydration with hyaluronic acid based products. Hold off on retinol for at least 3 weeks. And sun protection is your skin’s bestie in those first 48 hours!

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to make changes to your appointment, please let me know as soon as you can. Appointments altered within 24 hours of the scheduled treatment time are billed at the full fee. Call or text: 646-642-9381.
